The Legal Aid and Awareness Committee (“LAAC”) is a Committee under the aegis of National Law University, Jodhpur. It seeks to spread legal awareness and ensure legal aid for all sections of the society. LAAC focuses on spreading awareness regarding the Right to Education (“RTE”), women’s rights, migrant labourers’ rights, among other things. It has successfully undertaken numerous projects, notably the COVID Sahyog Program, the Adhikaar ki Pehchaan series, the Milkar Karein RTE ko Saarthak initiative, and the Smart Village Project under the Government of India’s initiative by the same name, alongside multiple other collaborative and independent projects.
