‘I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do.’ We at LAAC are a team of several individual units, who have come together to serve mankind. We will together bring the change.

Being a member of LAAC is one such opportunity through which you not only get to work on ground where it counts the most but also play a part to curb ignorance and injustice from society. “I’m thrilled to be a part of LAAC, a committee that doesn’t just try to make a change but is the change we need.
I hope to dedicate my heart and soul to a committee that from its outset has had a special place in my heart. It’s my sincere wish that this year, in these post pandemic conditions, we can help as many people and and positively affect as many lives as possible. Jai Hind!”
Lavanya Agarwal (Senior Advisor)
“I have always been a proponent of empowering the less privileged people with knowledge and skills instead of providing them with short- lived comfort and LAAC strives to do just that. Empower people with legal aid and awareness! I hope to learn a lot and have a great experience within this committee and make a difference in the world.”

“I’ve wanted to do something for society and affect positive change since I was in elementary school, but I’ve never been able to accomplish something significant on my own. LAAC provides a forum for us to collaborate as an organization for the well-being and welfare of society’s underprivileged. We collaborate to raise awareness and resolve numerous social challenges.”

“A Law without Justice is wound without care’’
We as a student of law have the responsibility to be sensible about social causes. Reading law comes up with various levels of brainstorming about the applicability of laws in real times as the main goal of law is to strive to make an ideal society, not utopia but pragmatic.
I believe legal education is better understood when we have practical knowledge of the complexity of Sociological and psychological phenomena that prevail in our Society. One cannot learn law in isolation in the bare acts as the law comes under the scope of social science and must be read simultaneously. Having a keen interest in reading poetry and literature portraying the socio-political understanding of general people and experiencing all those in my localities, I understood that law can be a tool for social empowerment. Hence, LAAC is the place for me. I chose the path of a humanistic and socially enthusiastic approach in the way of learning Law.

“I lack without LAAC”
LAAC is more like a close-knit group of friends and family instead of a simple committee that shares a common goal of providing Empowerment, Legal Awareness, and Aid to those who need it. One of the main inspirations for me to study the law is to serve the community. LAAC has given me ample opportunity to serve them and I am still learning and gaining experience through the committee workshops and outreach.

Being a member of the LAAC Family is an honor for me. Indian society has been working toward a social and political revolution for a long time. While independence brought about the former, it was only the start of the social revolution that ensures the equality and dignity of every citizen. I support the committee’s goals and hope to contribute to LAAC’s actions in order to spark a social revolution.
