Our motto “Working Towards Justice for All” underscores our endeavour to impart practical knowledge and information regarding the basic legal rights and remedies to the masses. At LAAC, we encourage our members to engage in a foray of matters of public interest: legal awareness, right to education, women empowerment, LGTBQIA+ awareness, and pro-bono work.

In order to make legal aid more accessible, the Committee acts as an intermediary between advocates across the state of Rajasthan and those requiring legal assistance. The Committee also works on various policy-oriented projects to evaluate the standard of legal awareness and implementation of welfare legislation.

The committee has an ongoing petition in the Honourable High Court of Rajasthan for strategic litigation improving the conditions of the government schools in Rajasthan, a feat that was accomplished through thorough surveys conducted in various parts of Jodhpur, documenting the structural infirmaries in the government school. In furtherance of Section 12(1)(c) of the Right to Education Act, 2009, the Committee also assists in facilitating admissions for children to government and private schools in Rajasthan.

In line with the Government of India’s Smart Village initiative, LAAC has embraced the Surpura village in Rajasthan. We are dedicated to enhancing the village’s basic infrastructure and public facilities, thereby contributing to its overall development.

Through these concerted efforts, LAAC strives to promote social justice, empower marginalized communities, and advance the collective welfare of the people.
